When an application like banshee is launched after double-clicking on a file in nautilus, or when you "open with" totem etc., and you're done listening to the file and click "close" it tells you that it will continue to run but that it will place the running application in the systray.
Where does this go? I can still see the app running by issuing a ps command but I can't figure out how to find it on the systray. ALT+TAB doesn't show it. Confused.
Hi openSUSE...? GNOME..???
opensuse 12.1 x86_64 gnome (whatever the default is)
If your on Gnome3 and 12.1 the notification panel (move mouse bottom right) will have the icons...
Simple, moved mouse to lower right hand corner and there was 1 application there but not the two that were launched.
Sounds like those applications your installing are not updating the database (as in not running rpm macros). Did logout/login?
I'll try to logout/login and see if that resolves this.
