Thats works but, the setting "enable desktop effects were in 3.11 secured with a message if you realy want this, are you sure your hardware can do it. Now it just enables it and when one is an normal user and no nerd its very hard to get it then disabled. Even a boot does not help because the setting is saved immed.
It looks like compiz does not realy care i.e. checks the hardware...or the nomodeset ...whatever where that can be set.
This is a major first "view on a system" problem that a new users will see and it should be downward compatibe with 3.11.
A new user see after a new boot a mess......that is not a good advertisement ...
