openSUSE 12.1 x86_64 3.1.0-1.2-desktop GNOME3 3.2.1 I have an external USB CD/DVD drive. This drive has always 'just worked' in openSUSE 11.3 & 11.4. However, under 12.1, the drive doesn't seem to participate as a removable storage device. It does not appear in Nautilus when a disc is inserted or raise any prompt when a blank disc is inserted [...] Do I need to twiddle something to get GNOME to manage this device as a removable media device? Does it appear in "udisks --dump"?
I believe so (full udisk output attached):
You seem to have two DVD drives. Does it happen for both, or only one of them? What do you get in: gvfs-mount --list Also, does anything happen when you plug it in: gvfs-mount --monitor Cheers, Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+owner@opensuse.org
