The current policy of openSUSE is to not ship updates with new upstream versions (except for a few rare exceptions), so it won't be in the 11.1 updates repository. I don't know if we have anybody working on packaging 2.24.2 (well, better to wait for 2.24.3 now since it'll be out next week) in the build service. It shouldn't be hard, though.
