Feature added by: Ralf Lang (ralflangb1) Feature #312776, revision 1 Title: Recent PHPUnit Test Ssuite openSUSE Distribution: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Desirable Package Wishlist: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Desirable Requested by: Ralf Lang (ralflangb1) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: The currently available version of phpunit is old and essentially bitrot. The distribution model has changed to pear. I am in the process of adding the current phpunit suite and its dependencies to factory. Use Case: Building a PHP CI environment with Jenkins and PHPUnit Testing software during development Regression testing when providing suse patches for php software. Building susestudio appliances with test suite already included, Business case (Partner benefit): openSUSE.org: Make openSUSE a more serious platform for web developers. Developers should not have to resort to 3rd party packages and non-distribution channels like pear to have recent but stable versions of their tools. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/312776
