Feature added by: Vincent Steenhoute (civ75) Feature #307519, revision 1 Title: Map a network share permanently Requested by: Vincent Steenhoute (civ75) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: On SLED11, mapping a network share with nautilus are not permanently. After rebooting, the network share shortcut don't stay on desktop, (like on SLED10). There is a possibility to add bookmarks in the nautilus browser but many peoples/customer prefer keep it on desktop. The best would be to implement a option in the "share connecting" dialog, for asking people if they wants a shortcuts directy on desktop or not (checkbox). Business case (Partner benefit): openSUSE.org: PSA Automotive 20000 SLED workstations 2000 SLES server 1,8 millions $ for 3 years + 3 P 4000/year Already 1000 servers installed (HP out) 2000 Workstations installed .
