[New: openFATE 311048] Ensure opensuse displays properly on a 1024x576 netbook screen
Feature added by: Jedi Beeftrix (Jedibeeftrix) Feature #311048, revision 1 Title: Ensure opensuse displays properly on a 1024x576 netbook screen openSUSE Distribution: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Mandatory Requested by: Jedi Beeftrix (jedibeeftrix) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: Dear Devs, I currently run opensuse 11.2 on a lenovo S10e netbook with a kde desktop. As it not uncommon in the netbook world the screen resolution is 1024x576 (16:9) rather the the 1024x600 (16:10) which may be more familiar. The problem is that menus for critical functionality such as NetworkManager are too tall for the display even if resized, so it is physically impossible to "apply" settings as this button is always at the bottom of the dialogue box. Can effort be made to ensure that opensuse 11.4 does not have menus for critical system components such as NetworkManager which will not display at typical netbook screen resolutions? Kind regards -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/311048

(It's 128:75 in case you wondered.) -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/311048

But I agree with the issue...although this + sounds like it needs to be solved upstream. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/311048
