[New: openFATE 321478] Updated texlive in the main repository
Feature added by: hehe br (hehe_br) Feature #321478, revision 1 Title: Updated texlive in the main repository openSUSE Distribution: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Important Requested by: hehe br (hehe_br) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: Here are some suggestions for texlive in openSUSE: 1) Make the package manager to recognise texlive installation from texlive own installer.(Installation apart from package manager) 2) Make texlive not an obligatory installation for tex related apps. For example, if I want to install Gummy tex editor it will install the whole outdated version of texlive (2013) that is in the main repository. 3) Is there a way to keep texlive in the main repository in sync with texlive own repository? The texlive in Publishing:Texlive repository is better(2016) but does not have the latest updates. Thanks for your help and attention! Business case (Partner benefit): openSUSE.org: texlive in the main repository is outdated! (2013) -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/321478
