[New: openFATE 308285] Easy way to switch from 11.2 to Factory Repositories - and to 11.3
Feature added by: Andreas Jaeger (a_jaeger) Feature #308285, revision 1 Title: Easy way to switch from 11.2 to Factory Repositories - and to 11.3 openSUSE-11.3: Evaluation Priority Requester: Mandatory Requested by: Andreas Jaeger (a_jaeger) Description: Right now, I have to manually change the repositories when upgrading from 11.2 to Factory - or from Factory to 11.3. I'd like to have an easy way, e.g. 1-Click-Install or a script that does this automatically for my system. This might not change external repositories, e.g. on the Build Service, but it should change the official distribution repositories. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/308285

That allows you to + have "dynamic urls". + http://download.opensuse.org/KDE/openSUSE_$releasever + however this is tricky when SuSE-release changes in the middle of an + upgrade. We cache the value so it is read once per transaction anyways. + Also VERSION in SuSE-release never points to "Factory". -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/308285
