[openFATE 307482] Alien on Opensuse DVD
Feature added by: Mircea Kitsune (MirceaKitsune) Feature #307482, revision 1 Title: Alien on Opensuse DVD openSUSE-11.3: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Neutral Requested by: Mircea Kitsune (mirceakitsune) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: The Alien package converter would be a useful application to include on the Opensuse DVD, for easy installing on offline systems and including among other important tools that come with the distro (if licences allow distribution with Opensuse). Business case (Partner benefit): openSUSE.org: Some Linux programs may not come with a .rpm installer. I believe portability and easy installation of software is important in any OS. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/307482

Some sort of new package, directory /debsystem and + /debsyste/sbin, /debsystem/bin, etc. Default search PATH should been + changed after install this package onto /devsystem/bin, etc. + All application in /debsystem should been runned with chroot or + someting. + Ths would been better idea and we can put apt inside /debsystem . The + one question is: what about share library with OpenSUSE and /debsysem? + It could been probably hard. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/307482
