[New: openFATE 311700] Show updates in authentication details
Feature added by: Hans de Raad (hcderaad) Feature #311700, revision 1 Title: Show updates in authentication details openSUSE Distribution: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Desirable Requested by: Hans de Raad (hcderaad) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: Show the packages to update in the details of the authentication dialog of the update applet, both for GNOME and KDE. Business case (Partner benefit): openSUSE.org: Currently, the update applet asks for authentication without providing any details as to which packages are updated, which are details i would like to know before entering the root password for any operation. To see this information currently i have to cancel the authentication request, open the update notification window and reopen the authentication. It would be much easier just to click on the Details option in the first authentication request dialog and then continue. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/311700
