[openFATE 305158] Make summary of partitioning changes more readable

Feature changed by: Arvin Schnell (aschnell) Feature #305158, revision 12 Title: Make summary of partitioning changes more readable openSUSE-11.2: Rejected by Christoph Thiel (cthiel1) reject date: 2009-07-16 16:23:32 reject reason: no resources for 11.2 Priority Requester: Important Projectmanager: Desirable openSUSE-11.3: Evaluation Priority Requester: Important Requested by: Martin Schmidkunz (mschmidkunz) Developer: (Novell) - Developer: (Novell) Description: Before applying the changes made by the partitioner the user is presented by a colorful pop up (http://en.opensuse.org/Image:Part_current_popup.png). The idea is to replace this pop up by a nice, clearly structured full screen summary (http://en.opensuse.org/Image:Summary_partitioner.png). The summary lines ("partition X will be formatted", "fstab options changed for partition Y") come from libstorage and the interface is pretty generic so far. In other words, it has no support for grouping the lines (putting hard disk related msgs together, similarly with LVMs, RAIDs etc.) According to developers it would require significant changes to libstorage. Discussion: #1: Robert Davies (robopensuse) (2009-11-30 18:45:35) Odd this is down as 'rejected' because there's no pop up in 11.2, and AFAIR the info is well presented and pretty readable. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/305158
