Besides improving the feed functionality (see related request) it would also help a lot if Connect allowed for email notifications. Test Case: Comment in a discussion. If you, after that, receive mail about new comments, all is well. Use Case: Person X is engaged in a discussion in Connect. Thanks to the email notification she knows that there have been responses!
