Feature added by: Eric Renfro (psi-jack) Feature #309955, revision 1 Title: conntrack-tools Package Wishlist: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Desirable Requested by: Eric Renfro (psi-jack) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: Conntrackd can replicate the status of the connections that are currently being processed by your stateful firewall based on Linux. Conntrackd can also run as statistics daemon. Use Case: When used with a network heartbeat system, such as pacemaker or keepalived, this can provide connection tracking to allow near 100% seamless failover support by synchronizing connections to multiple servers, so when a fault happends, the backup server(s) know about the existing connections and can keep them alive with little or not loss in throughput or connectivity. Business case (Partner benefit): openSUSE.org: conntrackd can provide connection tracking for a router server with very reliable and quick failover support by tracking and synchronizing connections amongst the failover servers. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/309955
