[New: openFATE 314977] Enhanced YaST--> Boot Loader Tool

Feature added by: Dustin Falgout (falgout) Feature #314977, revision 1 Title: Enhanced YaST--> Boot Loader Tool openSUSE Distribution: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Important Requested by: Dustin Falgout (falgout) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: The current boot loader configuration tool provides only the minimum amount of grub2 customization options. This seems to be a pattern among most distros and I think openSUSE could get ahead of the game in this area by providing a tool that allows you to customize your entire grub2 menu including backgrounds and themes. An example would be grub-customizer but written to "just work". Also related to this, currently the YaST boot loader tool either ignores your other installed distros (Windows always works) or it names all the entries openSUSE with the incorrect kernel boot perimeters. This should be improved so the user does not have to manually configure it, especially a new user. Business case (Partner benefit): openSUSE.org: To stay ahead of the pack and continue to be the best distro for new users and experienced users alike. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/314977
