[New: openFATE 323794] Yast One Click Install and Flatpak/Windows integration
Feature added by: Sławomir Lach (Lachu) Feature #323794, revision 1 Title: Yast One Click Install and Flatpak/Windows integration openSUSE Distribution: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Neutral Requested by: Sławomir Lach (lachu) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: Yast One Click Install is great mechanism to install software/multimedia codecs/etc. In my opinion, to force companies to more often use it is allowing to install flatpak package, which OCI points to (flatpak ref) and to put address to installer of Windows version of provided software. Use Case: Martina is Windows user. She kept Windows installer on some partition to not search the software on internet every time She's broke system. Thanks to Windows and OCI installer, She can kept only OCI files. Paul is user of some not very popular GNU/Linux distribution. He can install software from Flatpak. Business case (Partner benefit): openSUSE.org: - Making OCI mechanism more popular due to supporting many new platforms - Use new Flatpak features, like installing software by user, sandboxing and keeping many different version of the same software. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/323794
