[New: openFATE 308398] Visual checkfs on boot
Feature added by: Alberto Garcia (trebol-a) Feature #308398, revision 1 Title: Visual checkfs on boot Package Wishlist: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Important Requested by: Alberto Garcia (trebol-a) Description: When the system (EXT3) is booting, launch a checking of filesystem every 65 days. A non-advanced user, one day, suddenly, that your computer take a long time and not show the Desktop... ...wait... and wait ...and press RESET button again. On several home computers that I maintain, the normal time of boot is ( about 1-2 minutes), one day, is multiplied by 10 or 20 WITHOUT visual indications. Is posible that openSuse show an visual alert over splashScreen in these situations? Some special loading icon of "extraordinary delay by checking FS, a moment please ...."?
