E.g. - X drivers without X - sane backends without sane - cups filters without cups Therefore using modalias for such driver packages may either be useless or may cause undesired installation of other packages. Modaliases on X drivers for example would cause installation of X in the Minimal installation that is specifically intended to be without X. We therefore need a way to combine "packageand" and "modalias" supplements. Discussion: #1: Ludwig Nussel (lnussel) (2012-05-31 10:41:00) looks like we already have the feature.
