[New: openFATE 314383] Easily create add-on media
Feature added by: Vaibhav Kaushal (vaibhavkaushal123) Feature #314383, revision 1 Title: Easily create add-on media openSUSE Infrastructure: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Important Requested by: Vaibhav Kaushal (vaibhavkaushal123) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: Hello, Currently it seems that OpenSUSE wont allow any easy way to create an Add-On media which I can reditribute to friends so that they just install the OS and pop-in the Add-On DVD (which I would give them) and install the extra software. For example, if I have VLC media player installed on my system and I want a friend of mine to have it on his OpenSUSE (but he does not have an internet connection), then I could use the Add-On media creator to (automatically) find and copy the required packages and dependencies and burn it to disk. This disk should then enable my friend to install VLC media player easily! I think there is one such feature in the YaST but it never worked properly for me.
