[New: openFATE 323964] Device Plain List/Device Graph switcher in Disk-Map window of openSUSE installer
Feature added by: Mikhail Kasimov (k_mikhail) Feature #323964, revision 1 Title: Device Plain List/Device Graph switcher in Disk-Map window of openSUSE installer openSUSE Distribution: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Desirable Requested by: Mikhail Kasimov (k_mikhail) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: Hello! Nowadays, when user installs openSUSE, he has only the plain list of disk partions (volumes, subvolumes) only (see http://paste.opensuse.org/31657927). And this list seems to be not user-friendly. Personally, it's rather hard to perceive the solid list. And, if user wants to see the map of just-made disk partitions, he should do: 1) Push 'Expert Partitioner' button. 2) Switch to 'Device Graph' option. That's rather long way. What I offer to do: 1) Make switcher (radio-button) 'Device Plain List/Device Graph', which will fix this long way. 'Device Plain List' option will display the traditional disk partitions list, which we can see now. See http://paste.opensuse.org/3171435 'Device Graph' will take info from 'Device Graph' menu, when user pushes 'Expert Partitioner' button. See http://paste.opensuse.org/11672540 2) Fix current buttons location mess ('Create', 'Edit', 'Expert'), doing them in plain horizontal. Thanks! Business case (Partner benefit): openSUSE.org: This will make Disk Partitions List in openSUSE installer more convenient to user and will make disk-info displaying more user-freindly with minimum of mouse-moves. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/323964
