It will still allow to manually use grub1. Just it will drop support from installer and also configuration using yast2 bootloader module. Business case (Partner benefit): openSUSE.org: GRUB1 and GRUB2 is configured completely differently and result is that to allow yast2-bootloader support both, code contain many work-arounds and nasty code. It also allows us to focus on one supported bootloader that works for newbies.
