It would be handy to allow them to file against the product *line* and let experts later assign the correct product and version. That requires a considerable effort to implement that in Fate and needs additional process steps to make sure that the product line features are getting handled. Business case (Partner benefit): openSUSE.org: Posting of features would be more easy for customer and community who might be unsure which entire product and version they should pick.
