[New: openFATE 312403] Allow two or more DHCP interfaces to be configured in YaST Network Configuration
Feature added by: Andrew Joakimsen (joak0) Feature #312403, revision 1 Title: Allow two or more DHCP interfaces to be configured in YaST Network Configuration openSUSE.org: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Desirable Requested by: Andrew Joakimsen (joak0) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: Currently, if you configure 2 or more network interfaces with DHCP what default gateway is used is unpredictable or won't be assigned. This can be implemented without any changes to the current YaST interface: 1. Open YaST Network Configuration, Routing tab 2. Select a device from the dropdown menu for "Default IPv4 Gateway" 3. Follow the prompts to Ok/Save Actual Results: After the settings are saved and the same YaST pane is re-visited the setting is blank Expected Results: It should be possible to set what interface is used for the default gateway If a DHCP interface is selected from the default gateway dropdown menu, and the default gateway input is blank, set DHCLIENT_PRIMARY_DEVICE option for that interface. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/312403
