[New: openFATE 309082] Overall progress bar for zypper up
Feature added by: Matt Williams (Milliams) Feature #309082, revision 1 Title: Overall progress bar for zypper up openSUSE-11.3: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Desirable Requested by: Matt Williams (milliams) Description: It would be nice if zypper displayed a progress bar (or progress report of some kind) for zypper up type commands. Currently it is very difficult to discern where in the upgrade sequence it is and therefore approximately how long is left. Even if a percentage is difficult, a (packages remaining)/(total pacakges) number would be useful. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/309082

As another note, why does the updater applet not display + a total progress bar (as I believe it used to)? Or at least some + indication of what it is doing or where it is at. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/309082
