There is urgent need to Add XFCE and LXDE live cds in software.opensuse.
org page as many Linux users are moving away from traditional DEs(KDE,
GNOME) after some rather controversial changes from KDE3.X==>DE4.X and
Many users moving to LXDE and XFCE can try out th DE environments using
the live cds provided in the software download page
Business case (Partner benefit):
: To test hardware issues Smaller download compared to DVD
Many users are preferring LXDE and XFCE over GNOME and KDE One can keep
using live cds in case of system crashes DVD download doesn't support

It might be a little expensive, mantainers-wise.
If we make LXDE/XFCE isos, why do not make E17 isos and so on?
Since this could be a good idea, I'll vote neutral and follow the
discussion as it evolves, if anyone provides more pros/cons.

+1 I switched myself to XFCE because of the resource intensive use of
KDE 4, there is big user base of Windows XP that can switch to Linux if
we can provide lightweight Linux distribution =>
I also got asked by friend interested in using openSUSE Live XFCE image -
and I could not help him.

It would be nice to have openSUSE Xfce CD. I agree that openSUSE has
best integrated with KDE, but usage and resource usability has become
an important factor and Xfce uses less memory, that's for sure. I hope
big openSUSE team can maintain Xfce live CD also like it maintains
