[New: openFATE 312596] Regenerate ISOs after package update
Feature added by: yu zhang (pswzyu) Feature #312596, revision 1 Title: Regenerate ISOs after package update Buildservice: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Important Requested by: yu zhang (pswzyu) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: I think opensuse should provide regenerated ISO files to public after several package updated. I think this may help reduce duplicate bug reports and reduce net traffics. I think this can greatly increase the user experience of opensuse. Thanks! -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/312596

Thanks! + Discussion: + #1: Robert Davies (robopensuse) (2011-07-01 12:01:53) + This used to be done in old SuSE days, an advantage of the net install + was going straight to a fresh system. I have intalled SuSE Studio + appliance so technically the current release seems to support this + already. Could "latest" ISO's could be automatically generated and + distributed every monday morning say, even if only for the Net & Live + CD's, with the updates repo enabled? GM doesn't always boot, so this + would help real users test kernel & hardware detection fixes. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/312596
