Feature added by: NoName StillNoName (uhelp) Feature #314908, revision 1 Title: enhance search @ http://software.opensuse.org openSUSE.org: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Mandatory Requested by: NoName StillNoName (uhelp) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: Enhance the search so that each and every packet can be found even if the proper name is not know or packages are searched by names other distris are using. Even parts or misspelling should give a reasonable list of potential hits. Business case (Partner benefit): openSUSE.org: The search at http://software.opensuse.org gives poor results, if one does not know the exact packet name. This would give a much better user experience to everybody and make the website more valuable, It will impact the reputation of openSUSE over all. I have often heard that openSUSE does not have package x or y. People just don't find the already existing packages. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/314908
