Priority Requester: Mandatory Projectmanager: Desirable Requested by: Federico Lucifredi (flucifredi) Description: As part of the Novell Support Link infrastructure initiative, provide common crash screen to intercept all applications equally, whether KDE, Gnome, OpenOffice, Mozilla or other. The common crash screen is part of the support module. Kernel infrastructure in place (see Ubuntu Apport) use cases: - on graphical screen: prompt user to report crash to Novell. - on headless system: if so configured, report crash automatically to aggregation point (SMT locally or Novell). this is off by default. - optionally, if support contract active, offer button to request live support chat/remote desktop session Discussion: -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/303848
