Zimbra team has decided to leave openSUSE as unsupported platform due to minimal download for their product (which should be wrong because they said Zimbra for openSUSE only 41 times downloaded comparing thousand for Ubuntu or Fedora). openSUSE is one of the best choice and strong distro for server. It would be sad to see openSUSE fans migrate to another distro only for one reason : Zimbra could not be installed on openSUSE 11.x and there is no binary package for openSUSE 11.x The best way to make openSUSE as best Distro for server area are providing Zimbra package (community builds). There is a project called Zimbra Community builds (see related article) but the author seems to hold the project. If it's possible to be build on build service or with another technique (manual build ?), I will help as much as I can for testing and implementing the binary package and providing the documentation.
