Feature changed by: Stephan Kulow (coolo) Feature #305560, revision 7 Title: Ability to Install 32bit and 64bit Debuginfo (and Sources) in Parallel - openSUSE-11.2: Evaluation + openSUSE-11.2: Rejected by Stephan Kulow (coolo) + reject date: 2009-08-12 11:13:19 + reject reason: the first feature I evaluate today having < 0 votes. So + I reject Priority Requester: Mandatory Projectmanager: Desirable Requested by: Jan Blunck (janblunck) Description: Allow the installation of libraries and debuginfo packages of multiple architectures and multiple versions of the same library. Currently the debugedit command run by the buildprocess to rewrite the paths inside the debuginfo to match the installed system is not able to handle the case when pathnames grow. The tools needs a complete redesign for that to work. This isn't a duplicate of FATE #302050, since it is focused on the toolchain that is processing the debuginfo packages instead of the package management tools. Relations: - rename -debuginfo rpms to -debuginfo-32bit / -debuginfo-64bit (novell/bugzilla/id: 143477) https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=143477 Discussion: #1: Stephan Kulow (coolo) (2009-06-24 11:41:53) Looking for community volunteers - are there any bug reports about it not working, btw? -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/305560
