At the moment they need a seeing person to do the install+setup for them. In earlier times, a11y in SUSE Linux was good, but at some point the braille support in the installer was no more working. Test Case: as root run brltty -l 7 -e -n -b xw -x no -A auth=none,host=127.0.0.1:1 -B font='-*-fixed-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-iso8859-1' this should open a braille line in an Xterm as user run a recent KVM: BRLAPI_HOST=127.0.0.1:1 qemu-kvm -cdrom openSUSE.iso -m 1000 -monitor stdio -serial braille 11.4 contains a fix so that you should see something on the braille-xterm during ncurses install.
