Feature changed by: Philipp Thomas (psmt) Feature #312892, revision 5 Title: Update boost to 1.47.0 Package Wishlist: Evaluation by engineering manager Priority Requester: Desirable Requested by: Adam Mizerski (etampl) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: Boost 1.47.0 is out and it contains (apart from updates and fixes) new libraries (especially I'm interested in Geometry). http://www.boost.org/users/history/version_1_47_0.html Discussion: #1: Andreas Jaeger (a_jaeger) (2012-03-06 14:14:05) Anybody is welcome to update boost. Details on how to do are at: http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:How_to_contribute_to_Factory #2: Philipp Thomas (psmt) (2012-03-12 12:18:33) (reply to #1) I'm already working on the update, but gcc fails with segfault in building boost. That bug is tracked update but has no solution yet. I'm trying workarounds but have no success yet. #3: Philipp Thomas (psmt) (2012-03-13 18:15:45) (reply to #2) OK, building for 11.4 succeeded so now I have a up-to-date man pages tarball and can build boost for factory. Expect it to show up as soon as building has succeeded. + #4: Philipp Thomas (psmt) (2012-03-13 18:17:22) (reply to #3) + And BTW, it will be boost 1.49.0, i.e. the latest release. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/312892
