Feature changed by: Jiří Suchomel (jsuchome) Feature #314660, revision 3 Title: YaST To Suggest Language Change when changing time openSUSE Distribution: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Desirable Requested by: vazha vandan (vazhavandan) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: When one changes Date and Time through YaST, YaST can suggest changing Language settings according to the timezone and country selected. We should avoid tight coupling of these functionality as it will prevent me from using Eng as language if set Saigon as as my location. At the same time YaST should suggest that it will try and change the language settings. Use Case: If i choose Region:Asia and Time Zone : Saigon in "Date and Time" YaST can suggest that it will change Language to Vietnamese. Discussion: #1: Rosanne DiMesio (dimesio) (2012-12-02 13:24:37) I would not want to have to tell YaST NOT to change something that I never asked to be changed in the first place. + #2: Jiří Suchomel (jsuchome) (2013-07-08 14:39:48) + On the other side, there are users that want to change the time zone, + but still keep original language. They would be only annoyed by any new + popup offering language change. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/314660
