Feature added by: Gavin S (gav616) Feature #313220, revision 1 Title: Pin down 'ntp' function on installation openSUSE Distribution: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Desirable Requested by: Gavin S (gav616) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: When installing 12.1 I select to use and sync with an NTP server near me, but after finishing the install process I check the NTP options in yast and 9 times out of ten all the options are changed. Sometimes disciplined clock is there and the single ntp server I selected in the install process has gone, also the chroot option is checked or not. I propose that in the install process the simple tick box for 'use NTP daemon to sync you clock' This tick box would just add three ntp servers from the users location previous noted from the map above. Also maybe a check-box asking the user if they connect through a unreliable connection such as a WiFi which could enable/disable the 'disciplined clock' option. Thank You. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/313220
