Feature changed by: Marguerite Su (MargueriteSu) Feature #308280, revision 3 Title: wqy font integration - Package Wishlist: Unconfirmed + openSUSE Distribution: Done Priority + Requester: Neutral + Package Wishlist: Done + Priority Requester: Desirable Requested by: Mingxi Wu (mingxi_wu) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: Current fonts used in openSuSE for chinese users uming is somehow out of date. Most other distros like Ubuntu now use wqy as a replacement, and give a use better look&feel. wqy font is already existing in BuildService now, so there is no techinal problem for the integration. So I recommend wqy as a default font for Chinese users in openSuSE 11.3 Discussion: #1: Jan Engelhardt (jengelh) (2009-11-07 01:53:08) No issue with wqy, though I would leave MS Hei with higher priority than wqy in the alias lists (somewhere in /etc/fonts), as is also done with Arial over the default SUSE Sans fonts. + #2: Marguerite Su (margueritesu) (2012-06-13 22:33:04) + wqy micro hei is default chinese for 12.2 -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/308280
