Feature changed by: Karl Cheng (qantas94heavy) Feature #311035, revision 7 Title: Support different linux installations in grub - openSUSE Distribution: Unconfirmed + openSUSE Distribution: Done Priority Requester: Important Requested by: Stefan Frank (stefanf74) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: When you update your kernel via Suse updater, the entries for different linux installations in grub disappear. Just the Suse and the Windows (!) entries are preserved. I have following entries in grub: Suse 11.3 Ubuntu 10.4 Floppy Windows After update the kernel you have to register the Ubuntu entry manually. Why dose openSuse support Windows entries and no other linux entries! Please support different installations in openSuse 11.4 Relations: - Update to GRUB v2 (feature/id: 308497) Discussion: #1: Per Jessen (pjessen) (2011-01-04 13:54:58) If you've added those other grub entries using YaST, I think you ought to report this as a bug. #2: Stefan Frank (stefanf74) (2011-01-09 15:10:54) (reply to #1) I think it's just not supported so the openFATE is the right place to report in my opinion. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/311035
