Feature changed by: Andreas Jaeger (a_jaeger) Feature #306352, revision 2 Title: mod_proxy_ajp: support for "subscribe" method - openSUSE-11.2: Unconfirmed + openSUSE-11.2: Rejected by Andreas Jaeger (a_jaeger) + reject date: 2009-07-10 12:03:41 + reject reason: see my comments. Priority Requester: Important Requested by: Emmanuel Rouët (erouet) Description: With mod_jk, the "unknown" methods were handled as attributes and still forwarded. In AJP, "unknown" methods are not allowed to be compressed & will not be forwarded and the connection is broken. Shouldn't AJP provide feature parity ? Currently, the list of methods supported by AJP does not include "subscribe": http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/mod_proxy_ajp.html#overviewprotocol However, Apache.org states "Later version of ajp13, will transport additional methods, even if they are not in this list." + Discussion: + #1: Andreas Jaeger (a_jaeger) (2009-07-10 12:04:23) + This looks like a limitation in the upstream Apache project, please + report it there. We're not going to change this ourselves but once a + new Apache server comes out, we can incorporate a fix. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/306352
