Can´t you Pick up the development again, it will be one of the most usefull organization applications i can promis you that. To enhance the usability decople "Client" and "DB-Backend" where the information is stored, put it on an Server DB with Autentification and History (Changetracking) and you have an easy to use Knowledge database for home and business use in almoste the same Power of OneNote.
