Feature changed by: Michael Löffler (michl19) Feature #307753, revision 4 Title: Share files with others remotely - Dropbox by default - openSUSE-11.3: Unconfirmed + openSUSE-11.3: Duplicate of #308621 Priority Requester: Neutral Requested by: Rastislav Krupansky (ra100) Description: Seeing that openSUSE is focusing on social networks, or the web applications like YAST elements - WebYAST, i think it would be great to offer something for synchronization files, sharing and work with others remotely. I think good choice might be Dropbox, which is multiplatform. Nautilus has already extension - nautilus-dropbox, but i don´t know whether any plugin is available under Dolphin, XFCE, etc.. I haven´t found yet. The one of ways could be here - http://antrix.net/journal/techtalk/dropbox_kde.comments + Relations: + - feature/duplicate: 308621 Discussion: #1: andrea florio (anubisg1) (2009-09-18 13:39:52) dropbox is wonderful, and i actually use it, but i really disagree to have the by default since it use UNTRUSTED servers. I think instead, that have dropbox gnome client packaged is the right choice #2: Rastislav Krupansky (ra100) (2009-09-19 14:07:59) It´s just an idea to use Dropbox. It can be used another form, not primary Dropbox. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/307753
