Feature changed by: Carl Fletcher (caf4926) Feature #318102, revision 3 Title: Facilitate the removal of Flash Player Package Wishlist: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Important Requested by: armando bustamante elu (aldobelus) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: Best regards. I'd like to propose a very simple change in the policy of OpenSUSE. Currently there are easy ways of replacing proprietary Flash Player software by other options. At the same time, I guess that we are many more users that currently know how to make this change, that want to do it and that is not for us a nuisance but a pleasure to perform it, thus giving a step towards the use of more free software in our computers. I know and use several GNU/Linux and I note that OpenSUSE is one of the distributions where is more difficult to configure this software change, not to mention the strange message I have found in this new version, the 13.2, which threatens to eliminate codecs and language of K3b package when you try to eliminate the "Flash's relatives", although it has seemed to me that, finally, it does not. Thank you for your attention and congratulations for this beautiful new version, the 13.2 looks very nice + Discussion: + #1: Carl Fletcher (caf4926) (2015-05-06 05:55:57) + flash-player is not installed by default at install However, the + package: pullin-flash-player is designed to pull the flash-player in + with all the post install patches/updates. + It's not clear to me, the purpose of this feature request - sorry. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/318102
