Besides supporting pretty much every image, video and audio format, it would be handy if this application can also be a vidoe recorder, recoding directly to hard disk. The ability to play DVD, HD-DVD, BlueRay and possible future formats sould also be part of the standard package. Playing streaming video would also be a big win.
