Feature added by: Christopher Yeleighton (yecril71pl) Feature #316447, revision 1 Title: give the build log Content-Length Buildservice: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Desirable Requested by: Christopher Yeleighton (yecril71pl) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: My build log (https://build.opensuse.org/package/rawlog/home:yecril71pl:branches:KDE:Relea...) weighs 23 MB; since the network gets stalled sometimes and the transfer gets truncated, I download it with KGet (mailto:kget@kde.org) . It turns out that even though the build process has finished, KGet (mailto:kget@kde.org) does not know how long it will take to download the log file, probably because the server does not tell how long the file is. I guess it would also help to compress the file on the fly; the compression ratio reported by gzip (http://www.gnu.org/software/gzip) is 97.1%. Test Case: { kget 'https://build.opensuse.org/package/rawlog/home:yecril71pl:branches:KDE:Relea...'; } Use Case: The user wants to review the build log of a package. Business case (Partner benefit): openSUSE.org: The network sometimes gets stalled sometimes and the transfer gets truncated, so it seems reasonable to use a download manager to download the file. Adding the content length would improve the user experience with the download manager. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/316447
