Feature changed by: Karl Cheng (qantas94heavy) Feature #310837, revision 3 Title: Enhance grub configuration for multiboot systems - openSUSE-11.4: Unconfirmed + openSUSE Distribution: New Priority Requester: Desirable - Requested by: Martin Pröfrock (martinproefrock) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: When installing Windows (version 7 with me), then openSUSE 11.3, and no partition is marked "active", then hibernating (suspend to disk) in Windows 7 does not work anymore after installing linux. When activating the "activate" checkbox in the Windows section of the grub configuration, it works. Could you change the intial(?) grub configuration or display a hint (flashing, big, ...)? I could imagine quite some people spending a lot of time with their favorite search engine to find out that solution. I did... As usual, Windows does not give any error messages besides a meaningless "file not found (2)" when starting the action from a cmd line. Discussion: #1: Tim Edwards (tk83) (2010-11-25 11:53:25) This sounds like it could be a bug, try reporting it at bugzilla.novell. com and see if they accept it. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/310837
