Feature changed by: Karl Cheng (qantas94heavy) Feature #315042, revision 2 Title: Linked Konsole and KDE file manager - openSUSE Distribution: Unconfirmed + openSUSE Distribution: Done Priority Requester: Important Requested by: Petre Agenbag (piie) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: Add a "linked" konsole window option to a file browse window in the GUI. The PATH for both windows must be "linked" - ie, if you change the directory in the graphical file browse window, the path in the linked konsole must also change, and vice-versa. Business case (Partner benefit): openSUSE.org: I believe this will make it easier to navigate to a folder where one may need to run some command line commands as well. One can do all the directory navigation with the mouse, and then immediately issue command line commands in the window below. The konsole thus "follows" your graphical browsing around automatically (and vice-versa). + Discussion: + #1: Karl Cheng (qantas94heavy) (2016-11-19 12:15:00) + This feature is available in Dolphin when opening a terminal inside the + file browser (press F4). -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/315042
