Feature changed by: Thomas Schmidt (digitaltomm) Feature #310089, revision 4 - Title: Remove not needed Repositroies after oneklick was successfull + Title: Remove not needed repositories after oneclick was successful openSUSE-11.4: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Important Requested by: matthias propst (l1zard) Description: When using Oneklick install, usaly the needed repositories are added to the repository list, even if you just need only one package from that repository. if you are using One Klick Install multiple times the user probertly would end up with an unnecessary long list of ununsed repositories. how about removing them shortly after One Klick Install has finished or at least ask the User for removing or keep the useed repository. Its enoying to delete them manualy everytime you do an OneklickInstall. Discussion: #1: Thiago Sayao (sayao) (2010-07-08 18:46:52) What about updates for the installed package? #2: Bernhard Wiedemann (bmwiedemann) (2010-07-11 05:35:49) The above sounds very much like the checkbox that is already in OneClickInstallUI: "Remain subscribed to these repositories after installation" Of course, it is one extra click you always have to do. And the documentation on http://en.opensuse.org/One_Click_Install does not tell what it means. There may be rather frequent updates on those repos, wasting bandwidth and introducing new bugs that you do not want to have. Maybe it should be possible for .ymp files to specify the default value of the checkbox, so that mozilla repo could have it on by default, but games repo could have it off. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/310089
