[opensuse-factory] New warnings appeared on TW
GM, Would like to know if possible, the reason of the following two new warnings I noticed in my TW and if I have to worry about it: 1) dracut: Executing: /usr/bin/dracut -f dracut: dracut module 'systemd-bootchart' will not be installed, because command '/usr/lib/systemd/systemd-bootchart' could not be found! 2) sudo grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg Generazione file di configurazione GRUB... This message explains itself quite clearly. Unless you're interested in using systemd-bootchart to analyze resource usage during boot [1], you can ignore it. You might add "omit_dracutmodules+='systemd-bootchart'" to your dracut configuration, but that would just replace this warning with another one.
This is printed by LVM tools while scanning devices. The warning is emitted because lvmetad is the upstream-recommended way to run LVM these days. openSUSE supports running both with and without lvmetad. To activate lvmetad (and avoid the message), change the "use_lvmetad" setting in /etc/lvm/lvm.conf and activate "lvm2-lvmetad.service". Thanks, I've not any interests into using bootchart.
Thanks, also I'm not using LVM at all so I'll keep ignoring this second warning.
