So, not following the details on the "upgrading from 15.5" . . . there might be a "click to upgrade" option, OR it would have to be via "editing the repos"??? I also do not use btrfs formatting . . . ext4 for everybody on my multi-booter . . . that is no longer going to be an option??? @Larry . . . Mint MATE is a good choice in Mint, the only issue I had with Mint is, that most ubuntu flavors only let themselves be included in the grub boot menu . . . so if there is a multi-boot situation that gets "complicated" . . . .
