[opensuse-factory] Warning: 20151030 went out untested
Hi, OBS broke a feature required for our Tumbleweed release process (https://github.com/openSUSE/open-build-service/issues/1326), so the normal release process does not work. Unfortunately our tool to handle the process wasn't prepared for that, so while it failed to release the ISOs to openQA, it did release the FTP tree - but it wasn't tested due to the lack of a NET.iso. Today it found the latest snapshot in testing (20151022) to be good, so it decided to publish what is there. This is now a bad mix betwen 1022 DVDs and 1030 FTP tree, but worse: the FTP tree is untested and your zypper dup might give you uncatched bugs ;( I can't revert that, so please zypper dup only on your own risk until told otherwise ;( Greetings, Stephan -- Ma muaß weiterkämpfen, kämpfen bis zum Umfalln, a wenn die ganze Welt an Arsch offen hat, oder grad deswegn. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

All services on my *weed powered servers are still up after automatic zypper-dup over night, congratulations! Regards, Howard On Mon, 2 Nov 2015, Stephan Kulow wrote:

Can confirm that my experimental Tumbleweed server is operating without issue after the last zypper dup. In fact, the systemd ordering cycles seem to be fixed. On 11/2/2015 2:03 AM, Stephan Kulow wrote:

Here all went fine too. Having a lvm luks-crypt setup on a Lenovo X220. The only issue was to remove vlc due to missing dependency (but I heard vlc is broken in qt5.5 anyway?). -- Jabber: robby81@jabber.de -- Vertrauliche Kommunikation ist die Basis der Demokratie! hmm, you are actually right, yesterday zypper said to me that vlc is not installable due to a missing dep. Tks for info, but I updated over eight hours ago on four boxes and only saw a problem on a laptop with efi that shim provides an empty boot option as default. Reordering the boot options provides function and Bug #950569 is reported. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
