Hi, Tumbleweed, up-to-date. I'm using smb4k to mount remote cifs-shares via vpn. Doesn't work with kernel 6.6.1, works with kernel 6.5.9 It seems there is an issue with cifs and kernel 6.6, see here: - https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1217194 - https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=290342 While my error message in dmesg is different -- CIFS: Attempting to mount //sbsABCD/XYZ [ 4722.266410] CIFS: VFS: cifs_mount failed w/return code = -4 -- BUT if there really were an issue, there would be many reports. Maybe kernel 6.6.1 is too new? Back on 6.5.9 for the time being. -- Kind Regards, Alexander
