[opensuse-factory] gogo6 client in openSUSE
The Linux client for this 6in4 tunnel has recently been added to Fedora. Is there any chance it could be added to openSUSE? I have been using this service for about 2 years, but have to compile the client for installation. tnx jk http://gogonet.gogo6.com -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Of cause it could. Get an openSUSE account, create a package in your home repo, move that to one of the devel repos when it builds successfully and request that the package be made part of openSUSE:Factory. I've taken a look at the Fedora package and in its current form it can't be added to openSUSE as the accompanying GUI-LICENSE.TXT prohibits distribution. So unless you get gogo6 Inc to either scratch that license or clarify that it doesn't pertain to the gogoc cmdline client there is no chance to get it incorporated. The original gogo6 Linux package doesn't have a GUI, to my knowledge. Perhaps that's something Fedora has added. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Yes, it doesn't have a GUI. It seems that GUI-LICENSE.TXT is meant for the Windows GUI and all files I did look at said that CLIENT-LICENSE.TXT does apply. But I'll let our license specialists chime in. Ciaran, Juergen could one of you help in shedding light? The sources in question are in home:psmt:branches:network/gogoc.
